Job Title: .Net Developer (Intermediate)
Location: Dublin 8, Ireland (Hybrid working model. 3 days in office/2 days working from home)
Contract / Permanent: 6 Months with further extension.
Start date: January 2026
Role:
The Applications Development and Support team are now seeking to procure the services of one .Net Developer for the upgrading of a Training Framework Support System. The system will be developed on the current platforms in use. The technologies used by the team, including but are not limited to:
• Microsoft Azure Dev Ops
• Microsoft Visual Studio (latest version)
• .net Core
• Microsoft SQL Server 2022
• Windows Server 2022
• Microsoft 365
• Windows 11 desktop
• Angular
Defining, producing and updating associated technical documentation will be a requirement of the .Net developer.
Experience Level Required:
It is a mandatory requirement, that the Resource proposed has the equivalent of 4 – 6 years’ experience in this role.
· 4+ years’ experience of application Design, development, testing and implementation of .net applications with SQL Server database back ends.
· A degree or higher in computer science or IT-related discipline. Note: Evidence (i.e. a copy of the relevant certificate).
Key Deliverable:
The following non-exhaustive list of Key Deliverables are applicable to this Role.
• Design/Development of the Training Framework support system
• Supporting the development/business team.
• SQL server database development (stored procedures, triggers), maintenance (backup, restore), testing and performance tuning.
• Participation in meetings.
• Provide Knowledge transfer to development/support teams.
• Defining, producing & updating associated technical documentation
Requirements
Key Experience/Competencies/Skillsets:
The following Experience/Competencies/Skillsets are applicable to this Role.
1. Demonstrate experience with implementing .Net-based software including using Microsoft.Net Core, C#, VB, MVC, jQuery, SQL Server in the last 5 years.
2. Experience developing UI using Angular framework.
3. Experience in database development (stored procedures, triggers), maintenance, and tuning.
4. Experience Developing and maintaining REST APIs.
5. Experience with Azure Dev Ops.
