Join us in our fantastic role of Home Condition Surveying Planner and support us to deliver on our customer promise through providing high standards of repairs and a safe place to live for our customers. You’ll provide an efficient planning and administrative support service to our Home Condition team, including booking home condition surveys with our customers and managing our pipeline of surveys that will inform our planned maintenance programme of repairs.

What you’ll do
Planning and booking in home condition surveys with customers and coordinating our Surveyors’ diaries, managing our pipeline to ensure we meet our targets.
Ensuring our systems are updated accurately with stock condition survey results, ensuring we have up-to-date records on the condition of our housing stock including kitchens, bathrooms to roofs and garden walls.
Stepping in when required to carry our stock condition and EPC surveys at times of peak demand.
Building great relationships with our customers, listening to their feedback and working collaboratively with colleagues across Home Group as well as contractors.

You have
Good understanding of Energy Performance Certificates and assessments alongside a working knowledge of the housing health and safety rating system (HHSRS).
Previous experience working in a planning role, coordinating work to achieve deadlines and KPI’s.
Strong statistical analysis skills, using Microsoft Excel to manage, manipulate and report on data.
An eye for detail, be a real self-starter and bring creative spark to drive improvements and think about how things can be done more efficiently.

The practical bits
We work Monday to Friday. The great news is that you’ll be able to shape your own diary.
This is a hybrid role, and you’ll work from our office at One Strawberry Lane, Newcastle Upon Tyne, from home and on our estates as required.
You must be able to use technology for updating records including Microsoft Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft products as well as completing online learning and collaborating with other colleagues.
You’ll need a Standard DBS check done and we pay for that.
