Vulcain Engineering Belgium is looking for a Medior Piping Engineer to join its consulting team in Ghent and its surroundings.

For this first mission, you will act as a piping engineer supporting a project in the food industry.

Oversee the installation of piping systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications, timelines, and industry hygiene standards.

coordinate with design teams to ensure constructability.

Ensure piping systems comply with sanitary design standards for food industry applications (e.g., CIP/SIP systems, stainless steel piping, weld quality, slope requirements). Work closely with external contractors, fabricators, and vendors to ensure proper installation and integration of piping systems.

Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field.

~5+ years of relevant experience in piping design and installation, preferably in the food, beverage, or pharmaceutical industries.

~ Experience managing on-site construction or installation projects.
