Legal Counsel

Our client, a leading telco company is hiring a commercial lawyer to provide legal support across daily operations and new initiatives. The role ensures compliance with local laws and company policies, with a focus on telco and privacy regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts

Advise on legal matters across business functions

Ensure regulatory compliance, especially in telco and data privacy

Liaise with regulators, external counsel, and industry bodies

Manage legal risks and monitor regulatory changes

Handle disputes and ad-hoc legal projects

Ensure legal documents align with business and product needs

About You

3-7 years PQE, qualified solicitor in Hong Kong

Experience in private practice or in-house legal teams

Knowledge of HK telecom, IP, data privacy, and PRC tech regulations preferred

Fluency in English, Chinese, and Putonghua is essential

Commercial mindset, analytical, and adaptable under pressure
