The Role & Team This role will work in a small and passionate Nutrition team within ALPAs Retail Division.

Under the direction of the Nutrition Workforce Program Manager, you will provide high level logistical and administrative support to the 3-year, NIAA funded, First Nations Nutrition Workforce Good Food People Program.

The program is designed to improve health outcomes in remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

This program supports the development of a culturally responsive nutrition workforce to enhance healthy retailing practices across ALPA’s store network, including Island and Cape, Independent Stores, Outback Stores, and Community Enterprise Queensland.

This role is based in Darwin and is a fixed term full-time contract position for 3 years As our Nutrition Workforce Admin Officer, here’s what your day-to-day might look like: Coordinate travel and accommodation for the nutrition team Manage purchasing tasks: source suppliers, raise purchase orders, order and receipt stock Support accurate and timely reporting to the National Indigenous Australians Agency Monitor weekly store compliance with ALPA’s Health and Nutrition Strategy Review and approve time sheets for remote Nutrition Workforce staff Prepare meeting materials and provide admin support for team meetings Track and manage training resources and materials, including version control Assist in creating engaging presentations, newsletters, social media posts, and website updates Identify and implement improvements to admin processes Champion ALPA values and uphold workplace health and safety standards About You Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience with Canva or Adobe Illustrator Proven background in admin or program support Excellent communication skills across diverse audiences A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently Sharp attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities Confident written and verbal communication, adaptable to all backgrounds Benefits Salary sacrificing Relocation assistance 5 weeks annual leave + 17.5% leave loading Opportunity to make a positive impact in remote First Nations communities All applications will be treated confidentially and only those with the rights to work unlimited full time in Australia will be considered.
