DirectShifts is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pulmonologist to join our team in providing specialized care to patients with respiratory conditions in the vibrant city of Ohio.
Job Description:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of respiratory conditions, including asthma, COPD, sleep apnea, interstitial lung disease, pneumonia, and lung cancer.
Conduct pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopies, and other diagnostic procedures.
Prescribe and manage medications, including inhalers, oxygen therapy, and pulmonary rehabilitation.
Interpret chest X-rays, CT scans, and other imaging studies.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients on lung health and disease prevention.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in pulmonology through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Medicine
Valid medical license in Ohio State
Extensive experience in diagnosing and treating respiratory conditions
Proficiency in performing pulmonary procedures
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment
