The Inside Sales Representative isresponsible for providing premier customer service to all current and potentialcustomers from the point of initial contact through delivery of the product. TheInside Sales Representative must also achieve sales and profit goalsestablished by the management team at TEK Northeast. (TEK).
Increasesales and provide support for current customer base as assigned.
Meetdaily, weekly and monthly sales goals set by management, i.e. dollars bookedand calls per day.
Promptlyrespond to Request for Quotes for current and potential customers. Overall goalis no later than 24 hours per RFQ.
Providetechnical assistance and solutions for customer returns.
Formulateanalysis of sales data to assist in establishing specific account pricing.
Performfollow up on all quotations in a timely manner.
Proactivelyreview open orders and advise customers of delivery status changes.
Contributeto a positive work environment based on teamwork and continuous improvement.
Communicateeffectively with other Inside Sales Representatives, Outside Sales andmanagement.
ProvideDirector of Sales with reports as assigned.
Adhereto all TEK's safety rules, regulations, and quality standards.
Adhereto all TEK's handbook policies and procedures.
RequiredQualifications
Highschool diploma or equivalent
Twoor more years of sales experience
MicrosoftOffice proficiency, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Marketingexperience, ensuring ability to recognize opportunities
MicrosoftOffice proficiency, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellentwritten and oral communication skills
Excellentorganizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
Abilityto effectively multi-task and work independently on assigned tasks
Excellentattention to detail and ability to transfer data accurately
Strongwork ethic; self-motivated
Operatewith high integrity, maintaining positive relations with co-workers, customers,and suppliers
