Senior Injection Molding Engineer

The Richmond Group USA has been engaged to find a Senior Injection Molding Engineer for a dynamic Medical Device manufacturer.

This role is ideal for a molding expert who thrives in regulated, fast-paced environments. As the subject matter expert, you'll lead molding process development, tooling, and validation to support both new product launches and ongoing production. You'll collaborate across teams, represent technical expertise with OEM partners, and make an immediate impact with minimal learning curve.

We're seeking a SME with strong injection molding experience-preferably in medical devices-who can set up, document, and validate molding processes while balancing shifting priorities.

Background:

BS Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Plastics or Polymer Engineering) with at least 5 years of experience, OR MS with 5+ years in medical molding.

Lead molding processes, tooling, and fixture design for medical devices.

Ensure protocols meet ISO 13485 standards and risk controls.

Partner with engineers, operators, and leadership on improvements.

Represent molding expertise with clients and OEM partners.
