FABRICATION TECHNICIAN

FABRICATION TECHNICIAN CCI is currently seeking a full-time Fabrication Technician.

In this position, the candidate will be responsible for using tools and equipment to fabricate building components.

Main Duties/Responsibilities: The Fabrication Technician is responsible for the safe operation of bending and shearing equipment, including break presses.

Duties also include welding, soldering, and joining sheet metal parts to create finished products.

This position requires the proven ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints, take accurate measurements, and mark out dimensions.

Candidates must also be proficient with hand and power tools used for fabrication.

Qualifications: The Fabrication Technician must be a strong team player capable of performing all previously outlined duties as well as have 3-5 years of fabrication experience and demonstrate reliability, self-motivation, and the ability to effectively and safely follow instructions.

A WELDING CERTIFICATE IS PREFERRED.

Additional requirements include the ability to lift 50-lbs, work at various heights, including on ladders, and hold a valid driver's license, have a reliable vehicle, and maintain auto insurance.
