This is an instructional paraprofessional position who will work with children in various campus settings under the supervision of a teacher.
Qualification:
Education/Certification:
Associates degree or at least 48 hours of college coursework completed (an unofficial college transcript will be required prior to hiring)
Valid Texas educational aide certificate
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Ability to communicate effectively
Knowledge of general office equipment
Some college hours in core subject area preferred
Experience:
Some experience working with children
Bilingual speaker preferred Salary:
Starting Salary Range: $22,440 - $27,362 (2024/2025 Compensation Plan)
Work Calendar: 187 days + additional ADSY (Additional Day School Year) days
Salary determination will be based on verified relevant work experience.
Salary will be adjusted to the start date.
Stipends include additional days during the ADSY program academic year as outlined in the stipend agreement. ***STIPENDS ARE GRANT FUNDED*** FUTURE FUNDING IS BASED UPON THE AVAILABILITY OF THE GRANT
