Senior Manager/ General Manager

Our client, a well-established engineering company with a strong footprint in mechanical and electrical solutions, is looking for a dynamic Senior Manager of Projects & Services to lead its Aqua Solutions division, the specialist arm driving sustainable water technologies across Mauritius and the region.

Your Mission

As the Senior Manager, you will:

Oversee all business operations within the Water Solutions division, including sales, aftersales, maintenance, projects, and marketing.

Develop and execute business strategies to strengthen market position, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of 60100 employees, ensuring performance, collaboration, and professional growth.

Negotiate contracts and pricing structures, ensuring alignment with commercial and operational goals.

Drive project success from design through commissioning, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and technical excellence.

Act as the strategic water expert, positioning the division as a trusted partner in hydraulic systems, sewerage treatment, and pool management.

What You Bring

A bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering (Hydro) or a related discipline.

At least 5 years of proven experience in a senior management role within water, M&E, or project-driven industries.

Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of managing large technical teams.

Sound financial and commercial acumen, including P&L management and contract negotiation.

Expertise in water treatment systems, hydraulic installations, and sewerage plant operations.

Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency in project management and reporting tools (MS Project, ERP, CRM, etc.).

A strategic mindset, analytical strength, and the ability to translate vision into execution.
