We're working with a leading independent insurance broker in the North West who are looking for an experienced Account Executive to join their specialist Motor Trade division.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly successful and growing team within a broker known for its technical expertise, client-first culture, and long-standing reputation in the motor trade sector.

The Role:

As an Account Executive, you'll be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of motor trade clients across the region - from independent garages and dealerships to large multi-site operations.

You'll focus on building strong relationships, providing technical advice, and identifying opportunities for growth, supported by an experienced internal handling and broking team.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing and developing a portfolio of motor trade insurance clients

Building strong, long-term relationships through exceptional service and advice

Attending client meetings and conducting regular reviews

Prospecting and winning new business through networking and referrals

Liaising with insurers to negotiate competitive terms and bespoke solutions

Collaborating with the internal team to ensure smooth client servicing

Maintaining compliance with FCA and company standards

About You:

Proven experience as an Account Executive or Senior Account Handler with exposure to motor trade insurance

Strong understanding of road risks, combined, and liability policies

Confident communicator and relationship builder with a commercial mindset

Able to manage a busy workload while maintaining exceptional service standards

Driven, ambitious, and passionate about client success

Cert CII qualified or working towards (support provided)

Full UK driving licence required

What's on Offer:

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
