Capability and Data Integrator

The Opportunity:

USEUCOM is standing up a modeling, simulation, and decision analytics program to produce and integrate operational modeling, simulation, and data analytics in support of Joint, Combined, and Coalition operations, planning, and decision-making. This new program will leverage digital technologies and analytic methodologies to inform planning, exercises, experiments, and wargames through models, simulations, and analytics of current and alternative operational environments, learn probable adversary actions and reactions, and understand the possible impacts to U.S., alliance, and partner forces’ ability to operate in the USEUCOM AOR.

You’ll be the Operations Planning SME to help our team and client integrate advanced data, analytics, and modeling and simulations capabilities into USEUCOM’s operational planning and wargaming functions. You’ll have the opportunity to analyze Joint operations, capabilities, and experiments, and communicate your analysis to customers across USEUCOM, Service Components, and Joint Staff. Most of all, you’ll support the integration of these advanced capabilities within operations, planning, exercises, and wargaming to help drive multiple modernization efforts across the Combatant Command.

You Have:

8+ years of experience with the DoD, including military service

3+ years of experience working at a Combatant Command, Joint Staff, or Major Command staff

Experience with Joint Operations Planning

Knowledge of theater strategy, plans, authorities, and Joint constructs, including Joint exercises and operations

Ability to provide senior-level perspective on operational-level of war (OLW) strategy, plans, security cooperation, partner training, command and control, intelligence, fires, movement and maneuver, or protection and sustainment

TS/SCI clearance

Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

Experience as a Service or Combatant Command Campaign Planner

Experience supporting NATO or NATO countries

Experience building scenarios for wargames and TTXs

Experience using Python, R, JavaScript, or other programming languages, including Tech Excellence, Data Science 5K, or similar

Knowledge of non-kinetic operations and capabilities, including cyber, space, or IO, and integrating them into OPLANs

Ability to facilitate advanced modeling and simulation (M&S) and analytic activities in exercises and other Joint events to ensure readiness for theater operations, including analyzing scenario events, operation plans, operations orders, and directives from higher headquarters, Joint Chiefs of Staff, and other organizations

Ability to communicate M&S and advanced analytic efforts to inform OLW eCOAs, planning assumptions, CONOPs, OPLANS, and BPLANS

Ability to identify and communicate doctrine, organization, training, materiel, TTPs, and policies to inform M&S and analytic activities

Ability to design and develop wargaming scenarios, TTXs, or synthetic exercise scenarios in accordance with Joint and Coalition doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures

Graduate of a JPME, Joint, or Service Planning School

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
