Strategic Sourcing Manager- Decorative Finishes

Position: Strategic Sourcing Manager -Decorative Finishes Company: NAPCO Security Technologies, Inc.

Reports to: Director of Purchasing Location: Amityville, NY NAPCO Security Technologies, Inc.

headquartered in Amityville Long Island NY, is a world-wide leader in the manufacturing of electronic security systems for over 50 years, seeks a Strategic Sourcing Manager to perform functions within our NY/DR Manufacturing Operations.

Responsibilities: Strategic Development of new suppliers for improved quality with decorative finishes.

Knowledge of decorative surface metal finishes & processes on ferrous and non-ferrous materials.

Provide support to quality team and help to provide guidelines to inspect for surface imperfections, scratches, oxidation, and visual inconsistencies of incoming products/components.

Knowledge of decorative coatingsPVD, Cerakote, E-coat, polished and satin plated finishes.

Collaborate with existing suppliers for outside service labor orders.

As a buyer, prepare purchase orders as needed -manage supplier incoming backlog.

Work with procurement and planning team members to ensure quality and on time delivery.

Ability to become the SME (subject matter expect) in decorative finishes / processes.

Awareness of BHMA standards requirements.
