Software Engineer

SRK Systems, Inc. is an IT firm engaged in the business of providing data processing consulting services to major corporations, government agencies and other business concerns throughout the United States.

Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to a related degree.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality, web-based software components that enhance Fidelity's investment experience, particularly for Money Market Applications used across multiple Portfolio Managers and Traders.

• Collaborate closely with scrum masters, systems analysts, architects, and fellow developers in an Agile environment to design, build, test, and deliver new features.

• Perform client-side development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AgGrid, PrimeNG, Web Socket and frameworks like Angular (preferably Angular v12+ with TypeScript, focusing on responsive web applications.

• Build and maintain Spring-based JEE applications, integrating with RESTful web services and leveraging frameworks such as Spring MVC and Spring Core.

• Write clean, maintainable source code, adapt and extend existing components, and conduct thorough unit testing using tools like Junit, Jasmine, functional/integration Automation testing using Cypress, Karate, FitNesse and Playwright.

• Ensure all designs and implementations meet performance, security, usability, reliability, and scalability standards.

• Work independently with minimal supervision, collaborating with cross-functional teams to rapidly prototype and validate ideas.

• Deploy applications in a DevOps environment using CI/CD tools such as Git and Jenkins.

• Apply strong internet security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

• Debug and resolve issues across the full stack, including server-side Java, REST APIs, SQL databases, Angular, Kafka and application servers like Tomcat.
