Electrician

New Tech Global is currently seeking a licensed Industrial Electrician for a client in Mansfield, LA.

Must be able to work a flexible on call scheduled.

Pay is $37 per hour.

Key Accountabilities

Requires skills to inspect, install, repair, adjust, construct, modify, calibrate, program and wire all electrical and electronic apparatus, devices, and circuits of any voltages in the plant or assigned area, Also requires the ability to assist in the design and service of all types electrical, electronic, pneumatic, electro-mechanical, radio controlled equipment and any type of integrating, indicating or graphic electrical, electronic or mechanical instruments and control equipment. Help ensure that all equipment performs at par with safety and OEM specifications. Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. This position must be able to work a rotating shift schedule which may require overtime.

Requirements:

- An electrical certification or technical degree with at least 5 years experience in Industrial electrical maintenance & repair preferred.

- Ability to read documents (in English) such as operating and maintenance instructions, procedure/equipment manuals as well as electrical/Mechanical schematic drawings.

- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence (in English). Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers (in English).

- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.

- Knowledge of general manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery.

- Must have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs
