Industrial Electrician (Refrigeration / Cooler Installation)

PRT-Staffing is immediately hiring experienced Commercial/Industrial Electricians for a long-term project with a major contractor in the Columbus, OH area.

This is a specialized role focused on the complete electrical installation of new industrial coolers and freezers. We are looking for seasoned "mechanic" level electricians who can work independently and read blueprints.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, bend, and run conduit (EMT and Rigid).

Pull wire and terminate power and control wiring for compressors, condensers, and evaporator fan units.

Set and wire disconnects and motor controls.

Read and interpret electrical blueprints and control wiring diagrams.

Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial or industrial electrician.

Direct experience with refrigeration or cooler/freezer installations is highly preferred.

Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.

Must have your own professional hand tools, benders, and power tools (drills, etc.).

A strong commitment to safety (OSHA 10 is a major plus).
