Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technicians (BTs) to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide personalized training, support, and care to individuals with developmental disabilities in a nurturing and collaborative environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful impact on the lives of others and who thrive in a team-oriented setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct support and behavior intervention services to individuals with Intellectual and developmental disabilities
Implement individualized behavior support plans under the supervision of a BCBA
Support clients in developing skills in communication, self-help, socialization, and daily living
Record data on client progress and behavior throughout each session
Work collaboratively with other professionals and family members
Maintain a safe and supportive environment
Maintain organized documentation
Follow established protocols, including safety, confidentiality, and reporting procedures
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old
Experience or education in Human Services, developmental disabilities, psychology, or a related field is preferred
Experience working with individuals with autism and/or behavioral challenges is highly preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Patience, empathy, and compassionate demeanor
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Must have current First Aid and CPR certification (required)
Must pass fingerprinting/background checks
Compensation:
Pay Range: $25.00 – $50.00 per hour (commensurate with experience and credentials)
