Responsibilities for Industrial Security Guard
Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
Manage access control
Perform regular exterior and interior patrols every 2 hr. (6 per 12 hr shift, to identify potential risks
Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
Answer questions in person or by phone
Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
Maintain a safe and Secure environment
Access control of entry ways and exit points using equipment at your disposal.
Respond to various emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches.
Enforce Property regulations and city Bi- Laws on the client's site.
Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
Complete Daily reports and Incident Reports.
Qualifications to become an Industrial Security Guard in Winnipeg ?
Be authorized to work in Canada
Hold a valid Manitoba security license
First aid certification an asset
Exceptional customer service skills
Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Deter criminal activity. Guards may be expected to engage in visible deterrence through their presence and by adhering to security procedures. security presence
Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
Must be able to work day shifts
Leadership and problem-solving skills
Must be able to wear hard hat
Ability to work in a stressful environment
