Finance Assistant Hybrid Bristol Office (Min. 1 Day Per Week) Full Time Or Part Time 6 Month Contract – With Genuine Potential To Go Permanent Up To £30,000 (Pro Rata)

The Finance Assistant Opportunity:

They’re looking for a Finance Assistant who’s organised, proactive, and ready to make a difference. You’ll join a small, friendly and collaborative finance team that keeps everything running smoothly.

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, but there’s genuine potential for this role to become permanent — the organisation is growing and investing in its people, and strong performance could easily open long-term opportunities.

Salary up to £30,000 (pro rata, DOE)

27 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)

Hybrid working – typically one day per week in the Bristol office

Flexible hours (full time 37.5 hrs or part time min. 22.5 hrs)

Key Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant:

Maintaining accurate ledgers and financial records

Importing and generating sales invoices

Managing daily banking and reconciliations

Processing purchase ledger transactions and payment runs

Supporting monthly reconciliations and reporting

Uploading and processing expenses in Sage Line 50

Providing general support to the finance team and wider organisation

What You’ll Bring:

At least 2 years’ experience in a finance role, or part-qualified AAT (or equivalent)

Strong working knowledge of Sage Line 50

Confident in Excel and Microsoft Office

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

A positive, flexible and collaborative mindset

Bonus Points If You Also Have:

An understanding of the NHS finance and governance environment
