The Role: SAP FICO Consultant We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled SAP FICO Consultant to join our client partner's team. This pivotal role involves overseeing Finance and Controlling solutions within their extensive SAP ecosystem, spanning across all Strategic Business Units (SBUs), Shared Business Services, and Group Finance. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving both the strategic direction and operational management of SAP FICO solutions, fostering cross-departmental and SBU collaboration, and delivering significant value-added services crucial for our client's continued growth and success.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Lead the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP FICO modules.

Collaborate with various stakeholders across SBUs and departments to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.

Ensure the seamless integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules and non-SAP systems.

Provide expert guidance and support for financial reporting, controlling processes, and compliance.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize existing SAP FICO functionalities.

Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of SAP FICO solutions.

Provide training and support to end-users as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a closely related field.

Possession of a part or full professional financial qualification (e.g., CIMA, CA (Sri Lanka), ACCA) is essential.

A minimum of 6 years of overall professional experience, with at least 4 years specifically dedicated to implementing and supporting SAP FI/CO as an SAP FICO Consultant.

SAP certification in FICO is a significant advantage.

In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the SAP FICO module, including robust skills in configuration, customization, and comprehensive testing.

Practical, hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
