Position Summary
Mau Marine Captains play a pivotal role within the Sales team, actively engaging with new boat owners to ensure their seamless integration into the world of boating. They exhibit strong customer service skills, dedicating significant time to interact closely with our esteemed customers.
Responsibilities
The following responsibilities will be expected for this position:
Create and maintain visually appealing displays of boats and watercraft in our showroom to attract and engage potential customers.
Provide exceptional customer service by initiating conversations, addressing inquiries, and guiding customers through the features and benefits of various boats.
Launch boats and watercraft for captivating on-water demonstrations, catering to the interests of potential buyers.
Ensure prompt and professional delivery of boats to customers, both on water and by trailer, showcasing impeccable service.
Assist at Mau Marine and The Okoboji Store events as needed, contributing to the success of these occasions.
Adapt to additional duties and tasks as directed by management, demonstrating versatility and a proactive attitude.
Requirements
Applicants must possess the following qualifications:
Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service experiences.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
Proficiency in driving, docking, trailering, and hoisting various types of boats, including outboard pontoons, v-drive and inboard boats, and twin-engine boats.
Must be at least 18 years old with a clean driving record, meeting legal requirements for operating vehicles.
