Driver Pay and Benefits

Average Weekly Pay: $1,386 ($72,072/year)

If running a 6 th day average weekly pay is $1,584

Starting Mileage Pay: $0.66 per mile

Detention Pay: $7.25 per 15 minutes after 2 hours

Breakdown Pay: $29/hour after 2 hours

Layover Pay: $150 per layover Schedule and Home Time

Routes: Over-the-road (OTR), Thursday-Monday

Weekend Work: Required depending on schedule

Home Time: Typically out 2 nights per week. Nights out are not back to back

Miles per Week: Approx. 2,166

If running a 6 th day, miles will average 2,400 per week

Routes will operate as normal during most holiday weeks Scheduling Options

Drivers can choose from a variety of 5-day weekly schedules that best fit their lifestyle, including early morning, daytime, and evening shifts. Some schedules include split shifts.

Opportunity to run a 6 th day for additional miles

Occasional fill-in on the snack fleet from Crossville Route and Freight Details

Delivery Area: Kentucky and Tennessee

Route Description: Shuttle runs between customer plants/DCs in the London, KY and Crossville, TN

Freight Type: Snack foods/raw baking materials

Freight Handling: No-touch; drop and hook

Drivers must live within a 100-mile radius

Must have 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years

Drivers must have Class A CDL

Must be 21 years of age or older

No convictions for reckless driving within the past 5 years

No convictions for DUI within the past 5 years

No suspensions or revocations within the last 5 years

No serious violations within the previous 12 months (15 mph or greater, following too closely, improper passing, traffic offense committed in a CMV in connection with fatality)

No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years

No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years

Essential functions:

Open/Close Trailer Doors - force requirement: 46 lbs

Count freight

Complete fuel tickets

Obtain sales leads

Hook/Unhook trailer - force requirement: 90lbs (Class A Only)

Perform pre-trip inspections

Drive

Regular predictable attendance

Enter/Exit a Commercial Motor Vehicle

Enter/Exit the rear of a trailer from ground level
