We are looking for a 2nd Line Application Engineer with strong experience in middleware technologies, especially Oracle WebLogic, to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for a technically skilled professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to contribute to the stability and performance of critical enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 2nd line support for applications running on Oracle WebLogic middleware.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, problems, and performance issues.
Monitor and maintain application environments to ensure high availability and reliability.
Collaborate closely with 1st line support, development teams, and infrastructure teams.
Support deployment activities, configuration changes, and patch management.
Document procedures, incidents, and solutions to continuously improve support processes.
Required Skills & Experience:
Solid experience working with Linux-based systems (administration, troubleshooting).
Proven hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic administration and configuration.
Familiarity with application deployment processes in middleware environments.
Understanding of networking basics, load balancing, and system monitoring.
Experience with shell scripting or other automation tools is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
Possession of EU/NATO security clearance or Polish citizenship and the ability to undergo verification in order to obtain EU/NATO security clearance.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of other middleware solutions (e.g., Apache, Tomcat, JBoss).
Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
