Description:

Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for developing our European gas portfolio, negotiating and managing long-term biogas and natural gas contracts while ensuring optimal value for the organisation. You’ll become part of a highly skilled and dynamic team who enjoys a fun and challenging working environment.

Welcome to Trading & Revenue

You’ll be part of Gas Origination eam where you, together with your colleagues, will drive the long-term agenda for biogas and natural gas. This involves working with many stakeholders across the organisation and counterparties outside the organisation. We offer a unique chance to work in a commercial environment that has a direct impact on the bottom line. You’ll become part of Europe Gas where openness and the ability to generate value collaboratively across our matrix organisation are important drivers.

As a team, we believe that inclusion of diversity enables us to deliver better business performance through greater employee satisfaction and improved decision-making.

You’ll play an important role in:

identifying and creating business development opportunities for the biogas and natural gas portfolio

optimising value by managing complex biogas and natural gas agreements and relations with external counterparties

creating value by negotiating new biogas and natural gas contracts – both sourcing and ‘route to market’ contracts

leading complex contract negotiations with producers and customers to secure strategic outcomes

shaping tailored product offerings based on regulatory opportunities and market changes.

To succeed in the role, you:

have commercial experience in biogas, natural gas or energy commodities markets

are commercially minded, with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage complex negotiations and multiple stakeholders

communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders, presenting complex matters efficiently

thrive in a matrix organisation and enjoy cross-functional collaboration

are comfortable with contract negotiation and customer engagement, navigating regulatory and market environments with confidence

hold a relevant degree (e.g., economics, engineering, law) or equivalent experience.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
