Job Summary:
Assists the Director of Technology and the Technology Department. This is a clerical position for the department, not a technician position.
Credentials:
High school diploma or GED. Minimum 5 years' experience as an administrative assistant preferred.
Other Qualifications:
Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to work without close supervision.
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Must have excellent customer service and time management skills.
Must be able to work with multiple clients at the same time
Must be flexible in adapting to seasonal increased workloads
Must be emotionally mature, confidential and work effectively and efficiently.
Must have a working knowledge in the use of Excel and Outlook mail.
Physical Demands:
Must have and maintain physical, sensory, emotional and mental abilities necessary for effective communication in person, in writing and by telephone. Must have good memory, be able to organize thoughts and activities and be able to articulate clearly. Must be able to appropriately handle stress.
Essential Job Functions:
Greet visitors, answer and triage phone calls and/or emails to ensure efficient and timely responses.
Support the IT team in maintaining work order ticket system.
Work as part of a team to coordinate inventories, device assignments and implementations.
Maintain technology workroom and office supplies.
In addition to essential job functions listed above, perform other duties as assigned.
Staff Relationship: Reports directly to the Director of Technology
Terms of employment: Twelve months. Salary and benefits negotiated annually by the Board.
