Fire Protection Project Manager
Position Overview
The Fire Protection Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing fire protection projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards, particularly NFPA regulations. This role requires strong project management skills to meet deadlines and budgets while delivering high-quality fire protection systems in commercial and construction settings.
Key Responsibilities
Manage fire protection projects, including fire alarm, sprinkler, and other fire safety systems.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project compliance with NFPA standards.
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks on fire protection installations.
Provide technical expertise and support to project teams and clients regarding fire protection systems.
Prepare and present project proposals and reports to stakeholders.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in fire protection project management within commercial and construction sectors.
In-depth knowledge of NFPA codes and standards related to fire safety.
Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and liaise with clients.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Familiarity with fire alarm and sprinkler system design and installation.
