Job Description

Essential job functions include maintenance of desktop and laptop computers; maintenance of other computer related equipment i.e. printers, copiers and fax machines; setup hardware in various offices; assist with hardware and software installation, configuration, troubleshooting when necessary; develop and maintain training material for department computer technicians; assist with administration, maintenance, and support for University email; respond to assigned help desk tickets; assist network manager and technician in troubleshooting and resolving Windows server and active directories issues

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in computer science; must have basic skills in the operation of a variety of office machines including, personal computers fax machines, telephones and copiers; ability to schedule and prioritize multiple tasks; ability maintain confidentiality and work well with a diverse population
