He\/she will be responsible for completing residential, commercial and industrial work assignments in a timely and efficient manner and teaching students in a class and lab setting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for jobsite training and supervision of apprentices and less experienced HVAC technicians; communicating and demonstrating knowledge of technical HVAC skills while maintaining a safe, productive, and positive work and class environment.
Strong communication skills and computer proficiency are required.

<\/span li>\n * Provide annual evaluation and course updates for curriculum; participate in continuous improvement of coursework span li>\n * Develop project based learning experiences and effectively integrate technology into student learning and assessment span li>\n * Assign lessons and correct homework span li>\n * Administer tests, provide comprehensive assessment\/evaluate student progress, and record results in a timely manner span li>\n * Participate in professional meetings, educational conferences and teacher training workshops, as identified, and span li>\n * Ensure a safe classroom\/laboratory environment span li>\n<\/ul>\n REQUIREMENTS span u strong p>\n Conditions of Employment<\/span strong p>\n \n * CPR and First Aid Certification span li>\n * Must pass a pre-employment and criminal background check span li>\n * Possession of a valid Iowa Driver's license span li>\n * Successful candidate must submit to post-offer, pre-employment physical examination and medical history check.
<\/span li>\n<\/ul>\n \n Qualifications<\/span strong p>\n \n * 10 years minimum on the job experience; OR Associate's Degree in a related field and five (5) years minimum on the job experience; OR Journey or Master's license (completion of a registered apprenticeship) and five (5) years minimum on the job experience; OR HS diploma\/GED and seven (7) years minimum on the job experience AND completion of a registered apprenticeship.
