Summary
The Coffey County Manager position ensures provision of quality mental health services through strengths-based model and consumer-centered focus. Monitors accountability, consistency, communication, and coordination between the Coffey County office and other CrossWinds offices and departments. Provides quality leadership and supervision to Coffey County staff.
Essential Functions

Engages in recruitment of client population, areas of potential services delivery, and potential revenue sources by means of outreach to other provider populations and coordination of care efforts.
Provides leadership and supervisory duties for department staff; provides clinical leadership by directing and overseeing clinical processes of client treatment such as clinical assessments, diagnoses, clinical interventions, treatment planning, utilization review, and appropriate client treatment discharges.
Provides quarterly performance evaluations to provider staff, including but not limited to available hours, billable productivity, caseload management, initial and subsequent no show/kept appointment rates, sick and vacation utilization, outcome measures, client satisfaction, proper billing of CPT coding, and paperwork completion including proper diagnostics, timely completion, and quality.
Attends various local and state meetings as an agency representative and develops successful relationships with these committees and agencies. Conducts formal and informal presentations to the community when needed.
Maximizes client placements among the team for optimal client service, as well as staff efficiency.
Provides quality direct therapy and client care to an assigned client caseload as the primary therapist.
Maintains accurate and complete records of all client services, as defined by state licensing agencies, funding agencies, and CrossWinds standards and requirements. Submits timesheets and all work-related paperwork in a timely manner and in acceptable format as determined by agency requirements.
Establishes and maintains a positive working relationship and professional demeanor with clients, external community partners, CrossWinds staff members, and visitors.
Demonstrates a high level of initiative and creates a positive model for staff to emulate.
Attends professional workshops and seminars in order to maintain and improve professional skills and meet licensure/certification requirements.
Work Environment
This job primarily operates in a professional office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as tablets/computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

Language skills are required, including the ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak the English language. This position also requires the ability to interpret written materials, write reports and business correspondence, and effectively present and respond to questions.

Requirements
Skills & Abilities
Education
Master's Degree from an accredited school of social work, counseling, or psychology is required.
Experience
Minimum of two year's work experience in the mental health services field and previous supervisory experience preferred.
Certifications & Licenses
Licensure as a master level clinician with the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Review Board (BSRB) is required. LSCSW or LP licensure is preferred.
Computer Skills
Computer experience in Microsoft Office programs and basic computer fluency.

Ability to successfully lead and direct a service department and its resources in an effort to support the agency mission; ability to work with persons with severe emotional disturbance and/or severe and persistent mental illness; possess demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to react effectively in a variety of human service situations.
