Position Summary: The Account Quality Review and Support Specialist is responsible for the daily research and review of new account documentation and account maintenance across deposit branches. This role ensures that documentation and client accounts comply with internal policies and procedures, based on compliance and regulatory standards. This role’s key focuses are accuracy, consistency, and timely resolution of findings.
Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Quality Review: Conduct daily review of deposit accounts documentation, signature cards, customer information profile maintenance, and other changes to ensure compliance with Unity Bank policies and procedures.
Reporting Analysis: Analyze daily reports to identify items that need to be added to the Account Quality Review Log and ensure reporting is accurate.
Account Maintenance: Update and maintain the Account Quality Review log, including the tracking of new items, completed items, and past-due follow-up.
Tracking Metrics: Track and review reporting metrics, contact bankers/managers from reporting metrics outstanding exception items.
Banker Service and Support: Respond to internal inquiries regarding account quality review issues, providing clear guidance and support to bankers while collaborating with internal teams to resolve documentation errors.
Team Mentorship: Provide mentoring and be the resource as the first point of contact for quality review issues and account opening to teammates; collaborate with manager for banker knowledge, development, and training.
Retail Partner and Advocate: Serve as a reliable resource contact for deposit accounts processing for retail team with account opening and account maintenance questions.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, privacy policies, industry standards, and internal policies and procedures. Regularly review updated internal policy and procedure to identify exceptions to policy.
Continuous Improvement: Identify error trends and provide an innovative approach when exploring process enhancement and improvement.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Two to three (2-3) years of retail banking experience.
Retail deposit account skills and knowledge are required.
BPM and Precision experience preferred.
Working Conditions: Bank/office environment, secure, comfortable working conditions. May be required to travel to/from branch offices, corporate office, and other facilities.

Regulatory Standards: Financial Institutions must adopt and comply with regulatory requirements. All employees of Unity Bank are required to comply with these standards and practices. Employees will be responsible for participation in training sessions for these regulatory compliance requirements. This will be offered through online sessions, department meetings, bank wide training, and other such media. In addition, compliance training that is specific to job responsibilities will be conducted.
