Maintenance Mechanic

Position Overview

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of machinery and equipment within the manufacturing facility. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical systems to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Perform regular maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery.

Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions promptly.

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation of repairs and services performed.

Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment as needed.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during maintenance activities.Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanical maintenance preferred.

Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations in industrial settings.

Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
