Attorney- Community Association

Berlin Patten Ebling is seeking a Community Association Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to represent condominium and homeowner associations. The role involves advising association boards on compliance with statutory requirements, contract review and preparation, drafting covenants, declarations, bylaws, rules, and amendments, and assisting clients in dispute resolution through mediation and arbitration.

Qualifications

2-5 years of experience in legal practice, with a preference for experience related to community associations or real estate law

Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Responsibilities

Knowledge of Florida statutes and regulations related to condominium and homeowner associations

Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts and governing documents

Assist association clients in resolving disputes through mediation and arbitration.

Provide legal counsel on issues such as board governance, elections, and enforcement of association rules.

Membership in the Florida Bar
