Quality Manager

Job Description

Our client in Waterbury, CT is seeking a Direct Hire Quality Manager.

Salary: 90-100K

Hours: Mon- Fri 830AM- 5PM

Responsibilities:

Approve or reject, in accordance with applicable procedures, packaging materials, intermediates, bulk, and finished products

Investigate quality events and disseminate final reports

Conduct trending of quality events

Communicate product issues and deviations to clients, when required

Respond to CAPAs (site, supplier quality, safety, audits, etc) as assigned

Revise, create, and/or approve standard operating procedures

Establish quality standards, objectives, and goals and communicate to site personnel

Participate in and provide information for regular Quality Management Review Meeting discussions

Approval of specifications, sampling instructions, and test methods

Requirements:

Must have prior and direct experience working in the pharmaceutical industry and packaging facilities.

Must have a Bachelors Degree.

Minimum 5 years in regulated environment.

At least 3 years of supervisory experience.

Food safety (SQF, HACCP, or equivalent) certification desirable.

Able to travel domestically about 10% Domestic travel.

Able to work in both hot and cold environments.
