HiFyve is hiring a Night Shift Maintenance Technician in Schulenberg, TX.

Pay: $28-$40/hour (depending on experience)

Shift: 5pm - 5am, work 3 days one week & then 4 days the next week. Example: work Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Tuesday this week and vice versa the next week.

Location: Schulenberg, TX

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and support repairs and installations across a food-grade manufacturing facility. This is a day shift role with steady hours and minimal overtime.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production, processing, and utility equipment

Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime

Install, modify, and upgrade equipment as needed

Work independently to complete maintenance tasks safely and efficiently

Use SAP or other CMMS to manage work orders and maintenance logs

Order parts and supplies for maintenance activities

Maintain compliance with safety and food safety standards (GMPs, HACCP, SQF)

Assist in training production operators on basic equipment maintenance

Participate in safety programs and continuous improvement initiatives

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED required

Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proficient in the safe use of tools and shop equipment

Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and P&ID schematics

Experience troubleshooting systems involving pumps, motors, valves, VFDs, and 120/240/480 VAC power

Familiarity with shaft alignment, IR scanners, and other diagnostic tools

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Basic computer proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, SAP or similar CMMS)

Ability to follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures
