Position Title: Project Engineer

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Position Overview:

A prestigious general contractor with over 50 years of history in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a motivated Project Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience in commercial construction. This role is integral to supporting the successful execution of large-scale projects ranging from $20 million to $80 million. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in construction processes, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Procore.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist project managers and superintendents in planning and coordinating construction activities.

Support project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders, using Procore.

Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely communication and execution.

Monitor project schedules and budgets, reporting on progress and identifying potential issues.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.

2 to 5 years of experience in commercial construction.

Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
