The Music Creation Apps team is looking for a software engineer.
The Cupertino engineering team works on GarageBand, Logic Remote, Logic, MainStage, and Voice Memos.
We are a small international team with a presence in Cupertino, CA, Germany, Scotland, and Culver City, CA.
**Description** Our team practices fast-paced development that relies on close collaboration between engineering, QA, and product design.
This position requires a skilled and creative engineer with strong technical and communication skills.
Responsibilities will include developing new features for iOS and macOS applications, developing technologies that power our suite of creativity products, and ensuring our software delivers meaningful insights into how it's used.
The role involves working closely with multiple product teams to design, implement, and maintain instrumentation that helps us understand how new and existing features are used across our suite of music applications.
**Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related fields is required.
+ 3+ years in Swift Or Objective-C + Experience with iOS Or macOS **Preferred Qualifications** + Strong programming skills with Objective-C and/or Swift + Experience developing and shipping for iOS and macOS + Strong understanding of data interpretation, statistical reasoning, and how metrics can inform product decisions + Strong knowledge of Xcode and related developer tools + Music, audio production skills, understanding musical concepts + Playing a musical instrument is a big plus Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
