Sr. Accountant

Job Description

Robert Half Management Resources is currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support a contract to hire position with a client in Heath, Ohio. In this Contract-to-permanent role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization by executing a range of accounting functions to include: month-end close, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and GL reconciliations. This role is based 100% onsite at the client's location in Heath, OH.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate cash balancing for organizational sales and financial transactions.

• Process and record financing deals from banking institutions.

• Perform reconciliations for credit card transactions to maintain financial accuracy.

• Manage and balance the general ledger to ensure proper documentation of financial activities.

• Prepare and post journal entries while adhering to accounting standards.

• Assist with accounts payable processes and related tasks.

• Contribute to month-end closing activities by handling assigned portions of the process.

• Proven expertise in month-end closing processes and procedures.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger management and accounting principles.

• Proficiency in preparing and posting journal entries.

• Experience with account and bank reconciliations.

• Familiarity with credit card transaction reconciliations.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
