WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Neurology Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Michigan City, IN located at FPN Franciscan Medical Pavilion with outreach in Chesterton and Valparaiso, IN. Interested candidate will be joining a talented team of a skilled physician and nurse practitioner that provide a collegial environment and strong mentorship opportunities.

WHAT WE NEED:

Ideal candidate will have a strong focus on general neurological disorders, along with emphasis on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Ideal candidate will be open to expanding their clinical knowledge, including office procedures and treatments such as Botox injections and Qutenza treatments. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and have a desire to invest in the community, building long-lasting relationships with patients and their families.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

Clinic hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Flexible full-time schedule

No Call Expectation

Average outpatient volume: 12 - 14 patients per day

Average inpatient volume: 7 - 10 patients per day

Well-established clinic with strong leadership and support

Outreach in Chesterton and Valparaiso, IN

Highly skilled mentoring from seasoned physician providing opportunities for growth

Common Diagnoses & Procedures:

General neurological disorders

Stroke, seizure & headaches

Botox injections

Qutenza treatments

Parkinsons

Alzheimers

Qualifications:

Master's Degree - Required

Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification - Required

Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required
