Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:

• $46 - $55/hour + 4% vacation pay

What you’ll do:

• Manage assigned category portfolios throughout the contract lifecycle: strategy development, execution, and post-award performance management

• Oversee day-to-day contract maintenance, ensuring compliance with internal requirements

• Support category management team with RFx creation, contract documentation, data analysis, and system support

• Execute sourcing initiatives, cost modeling, pricing, supplier analysis, and portfolio segmentation

• Lead supplier pre-qualifications, bid evaluations, negotiations, awards, and contract close-outs

• Facilitate KPI meetings, handle dispute resolution and claims, maintain documentation

• Liaise with internal stakeholders (Legal, Risk, HSE, QA/QC) and provide peer support

• Support business objectives for supplier performance reviews and business value methodology

You’ll be successful in this role if you:

• Are legally entitled to work in Canada

• Hold an undergraduate degree in a technical or business discipline (or equivalent experience)

• Have 8+ years of procurement or contract management experience, including 4+ years in category management

• Are highly proficient with MS Office (Word & Excel)

• Thoroughly understand the sourcing and contracting lifecycle, P2P processes, and Master Data Governance

• Demonstrate financial acumen, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail

• Possess strong verbal/written communication and time management skills

• (Bonus) Hold a professional supply chain certification (SCMP, CSCP, CIPS, ISM) and have SAP experience
