We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer to join our dynamic Engineering team. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will play a pivotal role in the development, modification, and optimization of CNC programs for the manufacturing of precision components. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to drive efficiency and improve the quality of our products.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and optimize CNC programs using Okuma OSP controls for the manufacturing of precision components.
2. Leverage your understanding of additive machining and 5-axis CNC to design and implement innovative manufacturing processes.
3. Modify CNC machines to enhance performance, improve safety, and reduce production time.
4. Utilize your knowledge of DMLS/LPBF metal 3D printing to contribute to the development of new products and processes.
5. Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve CNC machine-related issues.
6. Ensure all CNC programs and processes comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
7. Provide technical support and training to the manufacturing team to ensure the efficient operation of CNC machines.
8. Continually evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer or in a similar role.
3. Extensive knowledge of additive machining and 5-axis CNC.
4. Proficiency in programming languages for Okuma OSP controls is preferred.
5. Experience with modifying CNC machines and producing precision parts.
6. Familiarity with DMLS/LPBF metal 3D printing is desirable.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
9. Commitment to adhering to safety regulations and maintaining high-quality standards.
10. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
