Goodhue County Health & Human Services is seeking qualified applicants as a Case Aide in our Child and Family Social Services division. We are focused on a work/life balance for all of our employees, 13 paid holidays per year, and flexibility in scheduling.
Under general supervision, performs a variety of tasks related to Child and Family Social Services and/or other areas in Health and Human Services for individuals who are living in Goodhue County.
Examples of Work:
• Complete and mail certified notices to Tribes in accordance with the Minnesota Indian Family Preservation Act.
• Perform record requests and scan documents into the electronic record.
• Transport children/ parents and supervise visitations on-site and in the community.
• Maintain records and data for performance measures
• Conduct relative searches and facilitate mailing of relative search letters.
• Apply and remove drug patches for clients and maintain supply orders.
• Complete payment requests and prior authorization documentation.
• Provide support to the licensing, child protection, children's mental health case management, and office support teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School degree, or the equivalent, and in addition, either:
1. Three years of clerical experience and/or experience working with the public ie: customer service; or
2. Two years of clerical experience in a public human service agency; or
3. Two years of experience as a community Service Aide or similar experience in a private non-profit or other public agency; or
4. Two years of study at an accredited two or four year college with emphasis in the behavioral sciences, business, or closely related subjects ( at least 23 quarter credits or 16 semester credits).
Bilingual preferred in Spanish and English
Compensation/Benefits
County employees receive competitive pay and a generous benefit offering. The Case Aide position is compensated at salary grade 107 and starting annual compensation is $53,892.80 - $83,532.80.
