Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/01/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 2 years of OR and trauma experience, ARRT certification, and proficiency in C-arm and O-arm procedures.

Responsibilities Work in a variety of healthcare settings including outpatient, inpatient, operating room, and Level I Trauma environments Primary focus on X-ray procedures in the surgical setting with both C-arm and O-arm coverage Supports a diverse patient population in a teaching hospital environment Shift options include either 5x8 or 4x10 second shift schedules starting at 10am or 11am On-call responsibilities are required Responsible for performing X-ray procedures for surgical interventions and providing C-arm and O-arm coverage in OR Collaborate with surgical and medical teams to ensure high-quality patient care Maintain equipment functionality and uphold safety protocols Opportunities for ongoing education and training Reference checks must include one supervisor or formal leadership figure Return travelers are eligible if they have been away for at least 6 months Current employees at Ohio State University hospital locations are not eligible Locals will be accepted at the same rate Time-off requests must be submitted with initial application Prompt fingerprinting is required for onboarding; out-of-state candidates must be able to complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly Requirements Valid ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist Current BLS certification Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist, preferably in Level I Trauma or teaching hospitals Proficiency with C-arm and O-arm systems in the operating room Strong communication and interpersonal skills Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-621885.
