About the Role

Central Texas Recruiting is seeking a Senior Mobile Software Developer to lead the design, development, and testing of advanced mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll architect solutions, write production-quality code, and guide a talented development team through the full software development life cycle to deliver secure, high-performing applications that support mission-critical operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and testing of mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms

Develop applications using Java, C/C++, Objective-C, Android Studio, SDK/NDK, JNI, or Xcode

Build intuitive graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for custom software solutions

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, high-quality code delivery

Respond to evolving mission requirements in a fast-paced, agile environment

Provide technical mentorship and oversee configuration management for ongoing projects

Qualifications & Requirements

U.S. Citizenship Required

️ Active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph Required

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline

6+ years of professional experience in object-oriented programming

4+ years of experience developing Windows applications (Visual Studio/.NET) or Unix applications (make files or equivalent build environment)

2+ years of experience leading projects and managing technical collaboration

Technical Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in C/C++, C#, Java, and related programming languages

Strong background in Android and/or iOS mobile development

Experience with SDK/NDK, JNI, and native frameworks

Familiarity with CNO development and secure software engineering practices

Ability to manage the full SDLC, from requirements through deployment

Strong problem-solving, debugging, and technical leadership skills
