Description
We are seeking a passionate Behavior Support Coordinator to join our team in Columbus, Ohio.
The purpose of this position is to provide treatment, counseling, and behavioral strategies designed to help minimize symptoms of behavioral concerns exhibited by our Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) clients. The Behavior Support Coordinator will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized behavior support plans that promote positive outcomes and enhance each client's quality of life.
Requirements
Three (3) years of experience working with individuals with Developmental Disabilities and implementing behavioral support strategies and plans.
Bachelor's Degree in human services related field (Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, etc.)
Must possess a valid Ohio driver's license
Must pass a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug test
Must complete 40 hours of in-service &/or professional development training annually
MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
