Job Description

Develop and maintain Java-based applications to support core business operations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.

Ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of software systems.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to software development best practices.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production systems.

Write and maintain technical documentation for all developed solutions.

Stay updated on emerging technologies to recommend enhancements.

Adhere to compliance and security standards within the financial services industry.

The Successful Applicant

A successful AVP Software Engineer, Java, should have:

Proficiency in Java and related frameworks, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming.

Experience in software development within the financial services sector is highly preferred.

Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with teams.
