We are currently looking to recruit a Despatch Operative on a fixed term contract for 2 months for our Cable manufacturing facility in Wrexham.
This role will be working on a 2 shift roster working Monday to Friday (6am - 2pm/2pm - 10pm)

This role will require you to manual coil cable and assist on a cutting machine, Cutting cables to customer lengths for despatch (full training provided); in a safe and efficient manner ensuring that attention to detail is maintained at all times to produce high-quality products.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a commitment to continual improvement in Safety, Quality and Productivity in all areas of manufacturing.
As a despatch Operative you will be required to work flexibly when required, working safely, within specified training and risk assessments whilst supporting a culture of Zero Harm through your behaviour.
Successful applicant will ideally have:
· Previous experience of working in a factory/despatch environment.
· Enthusiasm and be highly motivated.
· Strong safety ethic and personal safety record.
· Possess a high level of drive, energy and commitment. Positive attitude prepared to take the initiative and make decisions that support operational targets.
· Excellent interpersonal, team working and communication skills.
· Good standard of education, achieving GSCE level or equivalent in Maths and English as a minimum.
