About the Role
We're looking for an organized, reliable, and people-loving individual to join our team as a Digital Marketing & Events Assistant. If you're tech-savvy, love helping things run smoothly, and enjoy being part of bringing people together, this might be your perfect gig.
You'll support our digital marketing efforts while also helping execute memorable meetup events. Think: marketing support specialist meets event logistics helper meets automation overseer.
What You'll Do
Digital Marketing Support:
Assist with social media content creation, scheduling, and community engagement
Help manage email marketing campaigns and newsletters
Track analytics and provide insights on what's working (and what's not)
Support content creation efforts across various digital channels
Coordinate with team members to keep marketing projects on track
Meetup Event Support:
Help execute engaging meetup events with hands-on logistics support
Oversee automated event systems and ensure everything runs smoothly
Coordinate and pick up food delivery for events
Set up and tear down physical event spaces (tables, chairs, signage, materials)
Manage day-of logistics and be an on-site point of contact
Assist with event registrations and attendee communications
Support promotional efforts for upcoming events

Requirements
Must be located in the Columbus, Ohio area this role requires in-person event support
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable learning and working with digital tools and automation systems
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
Reliable transportation for picking up food and traveling to event locations
Ability to occasionally work evenings or weekends for events (with advance notice)
No previous experience required we'll train you on everything you need to know!
Nice to Have
Familiarity with social media or email marketing platforms
Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
Experience with any kind of event setup or hospitality work
Local knowledge of Columbus-area restaurants and venues
