This individual will play a key role in driving product strategy, sourcing in-demand merchandise, and ensuring a competitive and profitable product assortment across retail showrooms and online platforms. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for merchandising, a strong sense of design and trend awareness, and the ability to lead cross-functional collaboration across marketing, operations, ecommerce, and vendor partnerships.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in retail buying or merchandising (home furnishings a plus)
Willingness to commute 2-3 per week to Dayton, OH
Lead product purchasing strategy and manage assigned merchandise categories
Analyze product performance, sales metrics, and market trends to guide buying decisions
Negotiate vendor agreements, pricing, and promotional programs
Collaborate with marketing, visual merchandising, and ecommerce teams to execute cohesive product strategies
Manage pricing, inventory, and product life cycle to meet margin and profitability goals
Attend trade shows and market events; travel up to 75% required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field preferred
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/Merchandising systems
