Housing Grant Analyst 2 The Office of Housing Support within the Ohio Department of Development is presently hiring for a Housing Grant Analyst 2 to contribute to a team of dedicated individuals who share a passion for supporting Ohio communities in their mission to increase affordable housing.
What you'll be doing: * Review and monitor housing grant and loan projects for compliance with state and federal regulations.
* Conduct on-site visits to evaluate administrative, financial, and program performance.
* Provide technical assistance to grantees in application preparation, program implementation, and record keeping.
* Review and analyze grant and loan applications, reports, and drawdown requests for accuracy and completeness.
* Assist grantees and applicants in structuring eligible projects and identifying funding opportunities.
* Deliver training and guidance to grantees, local officials, and partner organizations on program requirements and compliance.
* Prepare reports, correspondence, and informational materials related to housing and community services programs.
* Maintain accurate program records and enter data into grant management systems.
* Provide professional, customer-focused service to internal and external stakeholders.
* Travel as required, may include overnight stays.
Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration/public administration, urban planning or political science; 12 months training or 12 months experience in planning, developing and/or implementing housing and/or homeless grant programs or real estate sales and must be able to provide own transportation.
* Or 36 months training or 36 months experience in planning, developing and/or implementing housing and/or homeless grant programs or real estate sales and must be able to provide own transportation.
